Let Psycho be your guide in the world of the strange and bizarre... if you dare!

Dr Haze has filled a lifetime ambition of finally making it into the irreverant pop gossip email Popbitch:
"It's not every day that a circus dwarf with a Hoover attached to his penis gets in the car with you," - the manager of Captain Dan the Demon Dwarf.

Our fabulous Circus of Horrors dwarf Demon Dan had to be rushed to hospital after his penis got stuck to a vacuum cleaner during his act that went horribly wrong.
Daniel Blackner, or Captain Dan the Demon Dwarf, was performing with the Circus of Horrors at the Edinburgh festival at The Meadows. The main part of his act involves Dan on stage with a vacuum cleaner attached to his member with a special apparatus. The attachment broke before the performance and Dan tried to fix it using extra-strong glue, but unfortunately only let it dry for 20 seconds instead of the 20 minutes required.
He then joined it directly to his organ. The end result? A solid attachment, laughter, mortification and ... hospitalisation. "It was the most embarrassing moment of my life when I got wheeled into a packed A&E with a vacuum attached to me," Blackner said. "I just wished the ground could swallow me up. Luckily, they saw me quickly so the embarrassment was short-lived." Dan's Sticky moment in The Sun
The story has since been picked up around the world. "Hilarious - with your willie stuck in a vacuum cleaner - thats what I call a bad day!" said Jo Whiley on Radio 1 today

The BBC chose to follow the story of our Vampire Auditions for the Circus of Horrors. Job adverts were placed on cards at the Croydon job centre, looking for suitable weird and wonderful talents to become performers in the Circus of Horrors 2006 tour. Auditions were held - X Factor style - with Gerry Cottle (Simon) Dr Haze (Ozzy Osbourne) and Garry Stretch (Louis) at the Fairfield Halls, and the documentary followed one successful auditionee as she learned how to be the Girl in the Bottle. But she didn't have the bottle to give it all up and run away with circus!

Its not often a tribute can get their hands on the same props as their hero's. Britney Baby appeared with some of our circus acts, including Satanica the snake handler, at Homerton College Cambridge summer ball. So it was only natural to link the two together, to imitate the moment that Britney appeared at the MTV awards draped in a python. Except this python was over 20 feet in length, so was draped around Michelle's (Britney's) shoulders whilst she sang 'Slave'. A unique moment for both Michelle and the student audience.

Dr Haze and Garry Stretch appeared on Richard and Judy this week, talking about how Reading Council had forced them to remove the word 'Freak' from their 'Freakshow' name. The new show was called the New Incredibles, which prompted Richard to put his foot in it about upsetting the Disney mafia .. oops! Haze and Garry grabbed the presenters for a stretchy finale. You can see more of the footage here: Footage of the Freaks on Richard & Judy

Don't watch the new Phantom of the Opera film for the story, watch it for the freaks! Great to see Garry Stretch appearing not only in the film, but in all the trailers. Stretch On!

CIRCUS OF HORRORS - TRIO OF TERROR
Dr Haze met up with both his friend and idol recently at Guildford Festival. Arthur Brown, who guests on the Circus soundtrack and Alice Cooper were both on the bill, and all three met up after the show. Alice called the meeting a 'Trio of Terror as they plotted the nation's downfall.

The Wasp Boy was able to gross out even Graham Norton when he appeared on his show recently. Host Graham and guest Sheryl Crow were a bit queasy about Wasp Boy's talents for swallowing his cutless and lifting bells from his nipples!
He attached four large handbells onto his pierced nipples and merrily swung them around.

The Mongolian Laughing Boy (aka Tony Walls) featured his human fakir act on Channel 4's Banzai TV. Psycho Management devised a 'Pickled Pincushion' stunt to make use of his skin piercing skills. Tony's cheeks were pierced with four 12" skewers, although only one also pierced a pickled onion, thus suspending it in his mouth. Two people then had to guess which skewer held the pickled onion in place. On carefully pulling out the needles, Tony opened his mouth to see if the onion had been released.
Viewers watched and betted on the skewers as they were slowly pulled out of his skin. It was only on the third skewer that the onion finally dropped! Tony can be seen in the Carnival of the Bizarre, and occasionally appears in the Circus of Horrors.
